On the 1933/34 model B does the fuel pump also serve as a fuel filter or should I install and addition fuel filter.

fuel filter for model B ford

Do you recommend a fuel filter for use on a model B ford or can I just try to keep the fuel pump , sump, clean?

I swapped out my old carb for a newly rebuilt one, car now runs great.
I guess I should put a fuel filter in my 1933 model B.

I installed a new downdraft intake with the stromberg on top. This supposedly gave me 10 % more power? I could always go back to the updaft and the zenith carb if I have to.

I swapped out my carb for another Stromberg I have and the can ran great.
Thanks so much.
I will send my problem carb to uncle max for a rebuild.

Now that I finally got my car running again, idles fine, but engine stalls when step on accelerator. Could it be a fuel pump problem?

used oil flows like water

I am using Valvoline Daily Protection Non-Detergent SAE 30 Conventional Motor oil and just changed it and the old oil flowed out like water. Should I be using sae 40?

I love the stuff.
I think it contains Naphtha which actually dissolves cacked on oil. Oil time watchmakers used Naphtha to clean pocket watches.
