when next to cylinders show low compression its a very good bet its the head gasket leaking into the adjoining cylinder, I doubt its a vale problem because both cylinders show the same comression

indented valves are intake and can only be used in the intake valve seats, they are heat treaded differently than the exhaust valves, they will quickly burn if used for exhaust valves ,flat top...

go with an electric choke, wire the choke wire to the ignition so that wire is powered as long as the ignition switch is on

your first mistake is running non detergent oil in an engine with hydraulic lifters, detergent oil removes gunk and sludge built up in an engine. try running 4 or 5 oz of mmo in our gas. it could be...

if you have a chevy one wire alt, they have been known not to break the charging circuit in the alt and it stays hot when engine is turned off, will drain batt over night

buy them pre cut from ford wood, you will be glad you did, they will fit with no problems
