The more Insulation the better. 200+ temp. in the engine comp. is hard to deal with . I used 3 layers of the felt with aluminum backing. inside on my 48, it helped a bunch I also did the floor...

be careful with those rims. they will kill u. use a cage or chain around them when u air them .up.

Why not play it safe and use one. I was told by Mallory to use a surge protector so I did . I went through a module before I put one , been 10 years now with no trouble. I don't like fooling...

My 48 has 3.78 columbia max 1 cam 259 ci. offey heads. 2 ecg carbs. 51 jets. light flywheel. pulls good. I think it's a good set up.

It had something to do with French cuffs on a shirt. They look rounded seems like that was the deal back in the day.

It's like everyting else ,If they work there great. When they don't there junk. I have a Mallory breakerless from speedway mtrs, on my 48. The module went out of it within a few months. That's ben 20...
