Re: heater motor and blower 1949 F3

It was definitely not one Of Ford's better ideas to have a heater motor put under the fender.
I had a 48 Ford years ago with the same pbm. I went to junk yards to get a new motor and had a tin man...

Re: Pearl Harbor Day

My sister in law's maiden name was Day. Her dad wanted to name her " Pearl Harbor Day"
but they wouldn't let him. So she became Patricia.

Re: wiring question, '36 Ford

were sometimes added so that the headlights would get the full 6v and they would be brighter. terry

Re: Death of a tool??

Concerning old tools, I had an original 8" crescent wrench made at the Crescent Tool Company in Jamestown, NY. It went bad (roller was stripped) so I took it to a hardware store to look for the part....

Re: F1 steering box adjustment

If part of your pbm was the steering wheel moving several inches or more before it got tight and moved the wheels, then removing one of those gaskets was all I had to do to stop the free movement....

Re: Help Identifying Intake Manifold for 1936

Do a search right here on fordbarn. There are probably some differences between the
36 and 37 manifolds.

This is how it was done on my 48 Ford pickup. Metal entirely covered the top of the wood.

Re: !936 Ford Dash lights

I also increased the rectangular openings where the light goes through and plastic lens'

to give enough...

Re: 12v Optima battery

Thanks for the help fellas. I am wondering how price of the Odyssey compares to
the Optima. Just noticed the Optimas are made in Mexico. There must be the hidden

12v Optima battery

Will one of these fit into the under floor battery location for my 36 Ford? Thinking about just

Re: Adjusting the steering wheel play in a 1951 Ford

Maybe the steering box for a 48 F1 is totally different, but what my manual said to do

of plastic if I remember...
