Screwless window garnish mounding. How do the clips work? I have new clips but if in install them the moulding won’t button hook in. Withe the clips off I put the top in first then bottom will go in. I did not take apart so I have no idea where the five clips go. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm sorry I don't have any input, I took mine off and back on but don't recall how they attached. Shouldn't be specific to sedan delivery ...In any case. Can you post some photos of your 39? I have one also, they're fairly rare so nice to see others..

Did they make a DeLuxe sedan delivery in '39? That would be pretty much my ideal vehicle.

I just recently found out they made a hand full of 38 "standard" Sedan Deliveries. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say NO to a 39 Deluxe sedan Delivery, the closest to that grill style, I think, would be a 41 Sedan Delivery NO??.....I would have said no about a 38 standard too......SO hell, what do I know?

I could be wrong but I believe in 37\8 they did actually offer a "deluxe" sedan delivery but the 38 still features the standard type sheet metal. Just upgraded with a chrome windshield frame and maybe a few other options. As far as I'm aware the 39 did not have this option. 39 was a pretty low production year with only around 3000 produced.

Looks like a fairly solid vehicle from that angle. Good luck getting it together. If you need any photos or anything, mine is mostly as it was parked in 1948.

I got it out of Ca. but still had to replace all the floors. The rest of it had spot rust that I cut out for new metal. I am resto moving it keeping 98% original but will have all modern running gear underneath. I copied the pictured back interior you posted. I had just built all new panels out of 1/8 in. abs plastic. Mine was gutted when I got it. All the panels are ar the upholster now.
