Ford 1936 history... How can I get information?

Friends,

Any idea whom I can contact at e.g. Ford to get info
about my 1936 V8 Fordor?

Engine and Chassis are matching with a 18 xxx
number.

Former US-owner does not reply.

Ok, looked at my car and yes the screw does not sit
on the throttle cam. If I got you right it has to, yes ?

What confuses me most is that I have not had the problem yesterday
and have no idea...

Took my car out for a longer drive today.

When I started I right away noticed that the
Choke does not work.

Mechanical connection from dashboard to the
engine seems ok.

#1. still smells at bit fuely while driving, but I guess that is the
nature of the age.

#2. the crank is there and the thread bar as well... but the windshield regulator
itself is missing......

Does the triangle platen (see zoom in pic) in front of the windscreen open somehow?
