Ford 1936 history... How can I get information?

Any idea whom I can contact at e.g. Ford to get info about my 1936 V8 Fordor? Engine and Chassis are matching with a 18 xxx number. Former US-owner does not reply. I'm in Germany. Every idea welcome. Bernd |
