Not a 40, our 38 conv had part of a body tag on drivers side firewall, when I got it, I asked Dennis Carpenter if he could make some; he said they did'nt have a tag

I have drove our 38 coupe since 1964, has no vent, had no problems, if they needed a vent Henry would have installed one

I used a front brake drum, with bearings removed, balance drum first, install wheel with all lug nuts, then spin balance it, worked for me
