I appreciate everyone’s response.

When I bought it, it had a pretty good shine, and I remember seeing a lot of Chemical Guy products, at the guys garage. He wasn’t very helpful, so asking him...

Re: '41 or '42 Engine and trans, value?

Thank you!! I looked it up on there, and I honestly can't tell, how do you decode it? Doesn't IGA = 41, then a 2GA = 42?

'41 or '42 Engine and trans, value?

I bought this rolling chassis from a gentleman in Indy, he swore it was a '42, I'm convinced, thought the vin (IGA-89779) that its a '41. But Henry being Henry, at that time it could be a '42.

Is...

Re: 59AB hard start, some days

Does anyone have a phone number for Charlie? I'm leaning towards sending him a carb and rebuilding the pump myself.

Re: 59AB hard start, some days

I'm not opposed to sending one or both to him, I can for sure see value in having someone experienced do the carb, but isn't the fuel pump easily rebuilt?

59AB hard start, some days

As far as I can tell, and have been told, my '47 59AB, is factory correct. If I start it everyday or every other day, all I have to do is pull the choke out about 1/4 inch, pump the gas about 5...

Re: 47 outside door handle won’t open the door, now.

Its still not budging! So last night after driving it to dinner, I sprayed brake clean in the lock a couple of times. Tonight, I'll shoot more WD-40.

"Maybe "32Phil" will see this and add his...

Re: 47 outside door handle won’t open the door, now.

Thanks for the advice guys!
I sprayed WD-40 in the lock tonight and worked the keys in and out, I figured I would do the same tomorrow night and see what happens.

47 outside door handle won’t open the door, now.

I bought my ‘47 in October, and the other day, for some reason, I decided to look the driver’s side door. It was only hard to turn the key, but not enough to “force it”, if that makes sense. It was...

Re: ashtray in 46-48 woodie

This could be or may not be on topic here, forgive me if not.

Re: 47 Super Deluxe Clutch Catching Question

We spent a little time yesterday diving into this. It is an odd problem, but not all that hard to fix. What is happening is there is about a 2" rubber hose/line where the fuel line transitions from...
