Re: What kind of Wide Five Drum is this?
Thank you Lars. That rear drum I sold you is the only one I've ever seen. Never have seen a front, like on the ute above. How did you fix the bearing issue?
Show us a pic of your roadster!

Re: 59A motor in 1934 Fordor sedan
Yeah, I made my own front brackets too, to get the height exactly where it needs to be.
Yours looks good, tight though! can you still slip a fan belt thru the crank and guide?

Re: 59A motor in 1934 Fordor sedan

Re: Clutch won't dis-engage

Input shaft will turn at crank speed (with clutch engaged), and since...

Me...I start it in neutral, let it warm up a bit so it will re start with the trans in 1st gear.
Then drive around my circle driveway, or quiet street and get violent on the gas pedal with the...

Re: Clutch won't dis-engage
yeah, all good advise above. I drive around with the clutch pedal down and jump on and off the gas. They break loose and usually not happen again. Seems as though you need to drive it more...

Re: my new clutch slips!
Deuce, I've not done anything about it. Only slips at low RPM if you floor it, quite usable as is. I intend to someday pull it apart, check spring tension and replace with something slightly...
