Re: 35 - 36 Ford Pickup Front Fender Hole Question

Ngnear22...The picture Mr. Rogers posted appears to be of the early 35 pickup front fender that had the "bar" across the bottom of the slot for the bumper brackets. The bumper bracket slot was open...

1939 Ford TRUCK Reference Book Form 7068

I have a nice, not perfect, 1939 Ford TRUCK Reference Book. It is an OEM, not a copy. It is the one they would have put in the glovebox of a new truck when purchased with the various owner...

Re: 37 Ford Pickup Radiator

Try sending a personal message to v8fordman here on Fordbarn. He has both 37 and 39 pickups. I do not personally think that a 39 radiator will work on a 37 pickup because the radiator filler on the...

Re: 1935 pickup spare tire mount

The pictures shown are not for a 35-half ton. The 35 spare holder rod is a one-year item and was used with the 35 wire wheel with the small bolt pattern. The one shown is for a 36 and 37 and went...

Re: Is there a difference and IF so, what

I have had several pairs of the shorter headlight stands. Ford made a spacer so that the headlights would work with the shorter stands and the regular length headlight mount. I have a couple of pairs...

Re: Traction compound

Ron 1959...It sounds like a potentially expensive undertaking. 60 years ago, we used bleach like Kube suggests and often reduced the tire pressure in the rear tires a bit to get more traction if...

Re: 1935/36 pick up

On a US model pickup, the 35 grill is not as wide front to back looking at it from the side. I do not know if the radiator fill hole will align with the top of the radiator, but if you have the grill...

Re: Odd Bolts?

Kens 36...The battery bolts pictured are for the passenger cars. The ones for the pickups are two different lengths, both longer than the passenger car ones. The ones for pickups are also scarce.

Re: KR Wilson engine stand

Chris Haynes...I like your quote on your post that says, "Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?" It ranks up there with, "Never enough time to do it right; always enough time to do it over."

Re: thirdgenauto.com issues?

Seth...One of my local fabricator friends makes qwobble plates for the muffler bearings that are so good that you might be able to just replace the plates instead of the entire bearings.

Re: 39 truck front floor help needed with parts diagram

Do you still have the toe board (metal piece the pedals go through) that was original to the truck? They used at least three different ones in the 39.
