Sun Distributor Machine Strobe

I have a late 40s early 50s Sun Dist machine that I purchased in the 1970s the strobe is getting weak and will only flash at higher RPMs, every thing else works as it should. Suggestions for repair....

JB Weld on a fuel syste, repair

Planning on doing a repair on my 1935 hydrostatic fuel gauge sender over this winter. Will the fuel soften the JB Weld if submerged in fuel tank has anyone used it for ruel system repairs ??

I have a 59A in my 35 it was a bolt in but i used the 35 intake manifold to properly support the fan mounted generator, and i used a radiator hose kit from Bob Drake. I will try to take a few photos...

The late 36 Flat top Dist uses the same points as the 37-48 and I believe the 11A parts fit

What do the little cups on the sender do the lower one is pretty much gone see photos. Suggestions for repair?

The fuel gauge is pushing the red fluid out the top of the glass tube in to the gauge. I have removed the gauge and cleaned it more than once and cleaned the sending unit last year. suggestions

Has anyone tried Apple Cider Vinegar to clean the tank unit considering trying it on my 35, also suggestions for repairing the cups on the tank unit my upper one is partially rusted away.

1935 sedan with a stock 59-AB using the 35 intake manifold. I have 3 cabs a
