Default Re: Pearl Harbor Day

Some mentions today on Facebook. Our son came home from school when he was in 7th grade and asked why they had to study history because "that's just stupid old stuff". My answer was if you don't some nice man will stuff your butt in the back of a C 130 and put a M-16 in your hand and you will go somewhere unpleasant. He ended up going to Iraq twice. His Pearl Harbor was 9/11. Yes, history matters but the milestones are different for the generations.
