There are many others just like me who will come along and buy them up when they finally hit the bottom that is yet to come. Most of my friends are sitting and waiting thinking "why buy now? Ill just wait another 5 years and get a better one for half again less". My age group is done building from the older generations scrap, we are looking for complete, serviceable cars with good interiors and presentable paint as cars are extremely expensive to restore these days. I just wish I had more room and I'd stack them up like cord wood and fill a barn to the rafters.
I did the same thing! And I am enjoying the car a bunch. Even at today's values, I believe I paid about half of the cars worth.
