I have seen a few 34 coupes that have interested me but most are so far away that it isn't possible for me to go see them. I have not ever been able to take the "leap" without laying my eyes on one. No guts no glory I guess!

The me generation isn’t interested in antique anything. Everything is going down in price. If we are thinking of unloading the hoard of parts in our 40’ trailers now is the time. Otherwise, our next of kid will throw it all in the scrap bin. As my wife says, sell it now and we’ll go on a vacation to Bermuda.

ya, got THAT right!

about a week after my father died a few years ago, my mother (a wonderful woman BTW) didn't hesitate to order up one of those big metal dumpsters and have it parked in the driveway, and we emptied the basement of all my father's "treasures". it took three people two full days to do it. you should have seen that poor semi tractor lumber down the road while the bin teetered side to side behind. apparently my father equated value with weight! in the back of my mind (knowing what was in there) i had a suspicion that something illegal was taking place.

unfortunately, it brought only about enough at the city dump for all three of us to enjoy a Happy Meal.

I know when my Dad died last year I asked for very few items. We have a sister that is a hoarder, and she backed a big truck up with a crew of 5 people and took everything that was not bolted down (and they asked about things that were bolted down). As far as Model-A stuff, I have given some parts away to LOCAL CHAPTER CLUB MEMBERS in need.

I too have a lot of "stuff" and I have a problem parting with most of it. I am very active and still work on the cars and trucks but I just turned 83, and know that one of these days everything is going to catch up with me.... I told the family if something happens to me just haul everything out in the yard, have an auction and sell everything to the highest bidder. What doesn't sell haul to the landfill or scrap yard. That way you get rid of almost everything in one day.... I have been selling some things on Ebay and I have a booth at an antique mall. But I tend to be one of those guys that price things at what they are worth to me, and usually that is too high. I am getting better at dropping prices if things don't sell in a week or two.

Good luck to you other "Old Farts" that have a lot of stuff...
