Years agoIhada1930A coupe and with the trans ion 3rd gear you could lift up on the shift handle and move it all the way over with the trqns still in gear.
I know have a 1929 sports coupe and Iam not...

Back in the 50.s I had a model A 1930 coupe. with the trans in 3rd gear I could pull up the shift lever and move it all the way to the right. I now have a 1929 spots coupe and I can not do this....

1940 Ford V8 ID
I have a FH v/8 which is said to have come from a 1940 Ford. The heads are stamped A. The bell housing has a 2/8 with a O(or D) above it and a 2 below it.
It has the 2 cap dist. and a model 94 carb....
