I'm working on my project 36 dash & the glove box door is stuck slightly open. I have removed it from the dash & trying to free it up. It appears the ends of the round hinge bar attached to the door...

Flatjack9 ..... your motor is a 276 with the SU-1A what else has been done to it.
What rear end gear , rear tire size & overdrive unit is in your coupe , 22 mpg is good for a flathead.

Are the dash mounting holes in different locations. Does any one have a picture showing the cabriolet dash. The 35/36 Early Ford book shows & says very little about the dashs in these cars ........

Bill .... are you using water only or antifreeze mix ... My 47 convertible was running hot & boiling over , have 4.11 gear in the rear end .... noticed calcium in the radiator & read on the ford barn...

Thanks Old Henry , I will make up some stainless mounting plates with studs/bolts & try silver soldering or tack welding them in. They look to be 1/4 inch studs/bolts.
