Is the only difference between the closed car instrument panel & the cabriolet instrument panel the windshield crank hole.

Yes the windshield on the Cabriolet does not crank open, so no hole for the crank handle. Since the Woodie wagon has the same Windshield frame as the Cabriolet I would think the same applies. MrTexas would know for sure.

The 35-36 Cabriolet instrument panel mounts totally different than the closed car panel.

What Gary said. The closed car dash attaches with screws from the windshield opening that are hidden when the windshield is closed

Are the dash mounting holes in different locations. Does any one have a picture showing the cabriolet dash. The 35/36 Early Ford book shows & says very little about the dashs in these cars ..... Thanks
