hood emergency catch

we are in need of the emergency hood catch latch for a restored truck that some one did not put the latch back on. it is a 1951 F1 truck, other years will fit?

I did a build with an awsome henry kit, ended up buying two more from those guys. i do not think they are working on other kits--hope I am wrong.

be sure to taper the top of the block after removing liners, so you do not have trouble installing new piston/rings. I do this a lot also

do you have a two piece oil pan? if not you must remove the oil pan to get the flywheel out

found many a 1/4" washer on top of the spring under the cap--must have been an old time way of raising the oil pressure

makes want to get my 41 1 1/2 ton back! both are great looking trucks, I have a one owner 47 1 1/2 ton that was left out for goats to climb on, which made a big mess but cab and bed are fixable

18-3006 is early trans case, 48-7006 is 34/35/36, 78-7006 is 37 up to early pick up trucks, these are all top load cases. 99- any number is 39 mercury

I have installed floaters in about a dozen cars/trucks from 1929, 34, 36, 38. I will tell you they work as good or better than the hydraulic conversions with out the floating fronf shoes such as 48...
