Default 37 Flathead oil leaks

Excessive oil leaks that appear to be front of engine ( not from cotter key hole) any easy fix, I plan to increase viscosity ( 20/50) and I put on a new breather, should I put on a PCV ?open to suggestions,37 cabriolet is 98 % original open to suggestions

Cover your distributor with saran wrap and give your engine a bath, then get back to us with exact location and amount of leakage. 20/50 sounds good in any case.

I would not recommend pcv . The 37 uses no rear seal so youd be sucking dust from the clutch area using a pvc

You need to do as suggested. Clean the motor and be more specific, picture will help

Maybe start by tightening the bolts on the oil pan, timing gear cover, distributor, etc. and see if that makes any difference.

What mcgarrett said x 2, but do not over tighten the pan bolts.
