Default Help identifying some hood trim

I got a whole pile of 41-48 ford trim from a 48 ford parts car i just bought. It's identical to the 47-48 hood trim but there's a pair of lines at the front about 6" long.

Are they worth more given their scarcity?

Likely the scarcity of the item is only exceeded by the scarcity of need. Be patient grasshopper, you will find the one seeking.

My business coupe has that style of hood moldings. Couple of years ago I bought a spare set in a pile of parts I ended up with. Not worth huge money but in real world money $30-50 bucks each in my opinion. What surprises me is a pair of 42-6 cowl moldings will go $100 and up if they are not damaged. 42-48 business coupe rear quarter moldings can easily bring north of $250 each.

I have a late '47 and yes its fender and hood trim is a smooth oval shape. I understabd the '46 frims were "sculptured" with continuous longitudinal groves etc.
