Help identifying some hood trim 1 Attachment(s)
I got a whole pile of 41-48 ford trim from a 48 ford parts car i just bought. It's identical to the 47-48 hood trim but there's a pair of lines at the front about 6" long.

Re: Help identifying some hood trim Likely the scarcity of the item is only exceeded by the scarcity of need. Be patient grasshopper, you will find the one seeking.

Re: Help identifying some hood trim My business coupe has that style of hood moldings. Couple of years ago I bought a spare set in a pile of parts I ended up with. Not worth huge money but in real world money $30-50 bucks each in my opinion. What surprises me is a pair of 42-6 cowl moldings will go $100 and up if they are not damaged. 42-48 business coupe rear quarter moldings can easily bring north of $250 each.

Re: Help identifying some hood trim I have a late '47 and yes its fender and hood trim is a smooth oval shape. I understabd the '46 frims were "sculptured" with continuous longitudinal groves etc.
