Hey all, what's everyone using for hubcaps on 16" steels when you put them on mechanical spindle drums. (yes i used the spacer from wires to steels) i have the rocky mountain drums on my 34'.
I found merc caps to be deeper than the 40-48 ford caps, any one else found others besides the chrome dome smoothies? spindle, bearings and caps are too deep to use 40's caps without modification. Last edited by gingerkid; 04-16-2026 at 10:02 AM. Reason: pics |

You might look at the Canadian Monarch caps. They are deeper than the Ford caps. They have an embossed lion in the center. They were reproduced, but last I heard they are currently not available. The last price I saw was from CW Moss and they were $80 per cap and the catalog is about 5 years old. Not sure but the other Canadian caps (46-48) may be the same depth and are probably available.
