I have an original 1931 license plate but it does not have holes in the bottom of plate to fasten to plate bracket. I've noticed a lot of old plates do have holes in the bottom, just the top. Since it's a nice plate i would hate to drill holes in it. The ones of you that use vintage plates what did you do.

License Plate – Bob Drake https://share.google/Cn7y8dQmfRuArdk2C
Bob Drake has the clamp type. No bolt holes needed. You may have to adapt it. The link didn't come thru correctly. Search Google for Bob Drake license plate bracket.
