Question Starter Switch Questions

So I am restoring two starter switches and have a few questions. I have a new old stock switch and I was looking at the hardware on the battery stud. It has a "special" internal lock washer that nobody seems to sell (I don't think). Take a look at these pictures. Under it there is a special nut too. Nobody seems to sell that either. is this original or did somebody replace this with funky hardware? My final question is if the switch was painted black, the threaded rod that has the starter rod thread into was also painted black because it was already mounted right?
