Because of my ALS I'm loosing the strength in my arms & SHEBA's hood is heavy.
Has any body installed Hood struts to help lift the hood on a 47 before? |

How are your springs? my 48 raises easy. I think I put new springs on it when I put it together. almost 20 years ago now. Can't answer your question about the struts. It shouldn't be to hard to do though.

good morning speedway makes a kit works well it is made for 46 ford i like mine hood will go more

On my 41 I pull it out toward the front and it seems to engage the springs better and when closing, I work it down pushing back and side to side
