I think the yellow tag on it says model A & B. Hard to read in my pic here....but click on the earlier post and it enlarges it.

You guys do realize its really not possible to remove the crank gear while the crank is in the block. I'm wondering what your thinking?

I was thinking for the ones that are "stuck" on the crank. I have a really good four jaw puller that I normally use and I got caught up in the moment of having a "Ford" tool. If I took a second to think about it, I wouldn't have bought it

I'm thinking a Big Ass Cold Chisel, split it in two with a BFH! Then split the new one is two and JB Weld the two halves back together . . . yeah, that should work!

Maybe weld a couple nuts on there and pull it off ? Still gotta remember when driving the new one on you will be driving against the thrust face of the bearing.

I welded two bolts head first to a crank gear with no rear access (diesel engine at work) and pulled it easily with a common puller. The new one will slip right on if it's heated to approx 400 degrees. (no, the tempering will not be affected).
