Same here, I received an air filter without the end cap. No problem! The end cap was sent free of charge, and arrive a few days later.

Snyder's is great. I bought the plastic fan with hub. The hub was made wrong so I called Don Snyder and he knew what the problem was. He sent me a new hub at no cost, he stands behind his parts. Rufus

I was a bit pissed off, as I reckon they just wanted to get rid of their boxes rather than have to throw them out.

The parts could have fitted in a box 1/10th of the size.

I will never order again without a firm shipping quote.

Try asking them when ordering to use the smallest box necessary to save of shipping. Could be that the people that package the stuff are used to just shipping by weight and not size. It's worth a try.
