Default Snyders auto parts

We purchase $$$$ worth of parts every month from different vendors, last week ordered some parts arrived in calif in 2 days, one of the important parts we needed was a wrong part number 1 letter off, called no questions shipped the right part and paid shipping both ways. most vendors are good, but snyders and joblot go that extra step.

Nice to see positive reviews when a vendor does a good job for a customer.

They are wonderful. And I am glad to see a positive comment posted. Most only post negative.
If you want some fun, I have their catalog from 1980. A full exhaust $20. It is about 30 pages, all hand drawn part descriptions.

I have always received exceptional service from Snyders and exceptionally fast shipping. Usually my parts arrive in 2 days. In my opinion, they are the best !

They paid shipping back no questions asked. I was impressed too. We in this hobby are lucky as the vendors I have had dealings with are OK people.

I have found that almost all the companies that are run by Model a owners/lovers will treat you right. The ones that only operate as a business with no connection to the hobby except to sell parts are the worst.

Yes Snyders did same for me one High compression heads - seemed there was issue with spark plug threads - Synders took head back and made sure plug threads had been checked with pipe tap and sent new one. Just can't beat that service

You bet Snyder's is the best. They are only about 1 1/2 hours drive from here but when someone in our "A Team" needs something we try to put together a list from members and a couple of us go down the turnpike and shop in person. This usually entails about an hour in the store and lunch at the Amish restaurant and the gas to go to and from, but it's all worth it.

I got my parts from them for a 1930 Tudor back in 1970. That was my second Model A.

Back then Mr Snyder use to drive his Model T to Florida.

Snyder's is as good a customer as they are a vendor. Don and I have an understanding. If there is ANY issue with anything I machine for them I expect to hear about it. Both our reputations are on the line, all the time.

As to the spark plug issue, we check every head with a spark plug. I have seen heads we check with one plug not accept a different plug, by ever so slight a margin. We try to stay ahead of things with new thread inserts, drills, etc... but sometimes what passes our inspection before shipping has an issue in the public arena. If Don deems it something we need to look at, he is on the phone and telling me to take a look. Even if it is 1 out of 1000 parts. We still want to know. And I'm sure all of his suppliers feel the same. We all want you to be happy.

Just ordered some parts from Snyders today. Will have them tomorrow. They are the best to deal with. Them and Brattons I like the most, and I also deal with Mikes from time to time. Never had a bad experience.

If I make an order to Snyder's before 2.00 o'clock I get it next day. Even if they ship it USPS. Hard to beet there service.

Yes Synder's are tops on my list... I buy from Mac's and Mike's as well but 90% from Snyder's for their customer service.

I had my first order of parts from Snyder's last week, very easy online catalogue to navigate and pictures to help identify the parts.
My only issue was postage costs, $120 of small parts put into a huge box = $75 postage costs to Australia
You pay cubic rate on postage if it's over dead weight.
It's not unique to Snyder's, had this issue when ordering parts from other USA vendors for my Mustangs.

Yes I agree, Snyders are a great company to deal with, however they do need to review their packaging for overseas. I have had several parcels that have had me shaking my head.

I had the same from Bert's.

Many small parts put in a huge box with lots of waste paper.

Cost me a mint in postage.

I was a bit pissed off, as I reckon they just wanted to get rid of their boxes rather than have to throw them out.

The parts could have fitted in a box 1/10th of the size.

I will never order again without a firm shipping quote.
