F1 Radiator Shroud

Been through 5 f-1s with both in line 6 and v-8 . Not seen a shroud on any of them. I ask the same question and was told by some old timers (older than me that at that time every effort to make an economical vehicle was put in to the pick up truck line. Such as only 1 wiper and 1 door key lock.
