I think it was mid year '36, but that trunk lid opened with a "clam shell" effect, as compared to the small opening lid on the top of a Touring Sedan trunk. The car in question has the Touring Sedan rear sheet metal.
The '36 1/2 Phaeton/Convertible Sedan trunks were the first to carry the spare tire in the trunk on a Ford automobile.
