Default help 33 engine id ?

Guys I drug a "33" engine home tonight , realy dont know what it is , has 33 style clutch 46 intake 33 oil pan painted greeen & been sitting for 30 plus years anu ID clues before i dissmantle much appreciated

Pull up the block ID thread by 38coupe . Should answer all your questions .

33-5 all are basically the same block. Later blocks have the breather tube in the valve valley. If I remember right, pan did not change until the block with the breather tube.

I believe that you meant '33-'34 blocks. '35 blocks are vented as are their oil pans.

Seen an early 33 block which was just like a 32(no cavity between water inlet and timing cover) , the petcocks were angled and not straight down.

Late 32 engines used the identical steel pan as the 33-34 engines except for the dip stick boss. Check your engine for straight down water drains. You might get lucky.
