I just FINISHED restoring my Dad's '32 BB Truck
, and need to find some affordable antique insurance, but of the 2 companies that I contacted today, neither could give me a value on this restored 1 1/2 Ton truck. Any suggestions on where to arrive at a fair market value today? As for insurance, I'll probably put less than 100 miles a year, driving in local parades or Church functions, so any cost-saving ideas would be greatly appreciated. DavePS- First sunny day, I'll take some 'finished' photos, so you guys can see my labor of love! |

Will this help?
http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43710 Google "1932 Ford Model BB truck" and info. will help determine value. Also, look in Hemmings to see what they are selling for. I think after 25K most companies want an appraisal. If it's in great condition I would insure it for at least $20-24K (Agreed value). Last edited by 19Fordy; 02-08-2012 at 05:04 PM. |

I think you should focus on "Agreed Value". Call Collector Car Insurance compnaies that offer this and then compare rates for best deal. If you feel $35K is the number (more? less?) - that is what they will quote for.

Try Haggerty, I have 3 vehicles with them. They require pictures & can help you with agreed value. Hagerty.com.
