If we hadn't moved from the horse to the Model T,we would this be shoveling horse poop. That's pretty simple. Love what you did with the new tech.

Junknshit...Mine was also the "clean" version. Didn't want the "few" to get their feelings TOO hurt. DD

This is an early version of my flathead. Runners are too short for the street. ( my humble opinion only) Looks neat, but I wasn't satisfied with
performance. For the "traditionalists" I like this too, but not the plug readings that came with it. When I talked to Edelbrock, I was told that it was the nature of the beast. Might be Ok at high RPM'S. Looks good , runs OK. OK is not good enough.

Thanks Dick, The link above didn't take me to a site, is this the injectors you was referring to?

http://www.asnuinjectors.co.uk/index.htm

On the injection setup in the picture above, were the ports in the intake manifold connected with the equalizer runners between or were they plugged to make it a port per cylinder (8 itb's)? I have one flathead setup with the equalizer runners and wet manifold which doesn't give the performance as the port injection and equalizer runners blocked to make it 8 itb's. The throttle plates are 1 3/8" straight through with no restriction. BTW the setup in the picture looks sweet anyway, impressed.

All TB's are tied into the aluminum tube that is centered between the
TB's. They are the 3/8" black tubes that come out of the TB's. I tried jetting them etc etc, but now they are open to the plenum. I needed vacumn for the Columbia. I have a seperate line running to another tank for the
Columbia. If you get out of the city limits with a flatty, the Columbia makes it nice for cruising.

I found some pictures that might explain the balance tube for the throttle bodies. These are the tubes I played with some jetting. ( air jets) You can also see the idle jets from a 97 I used to balance the bodies. It bleeds air from the top and comes out past the plates thru the opening I left on the bottom of the reducers. Even though the throttle plates I made held water, the linkage was difficult to get perfect. This is a poor example of how to build linkage. Next one will be better. This also an example on where not to place your injectors. They are too far from the valve for good accel pump action. cruising, they are OK. Ok is not good enough. The picture with the rubbers tubes comming out of the bottom is how I reduced the runners. Surgical tube with spring supports. The rubber was centered with a support on the round entry side. The void was filled with Devcon. The rubber tube allows you to go from round to oval runners.

Dick I tried http://www.asnuinjectors.com/ and it takes me to a generic site. When I was asking about the port equalizers I didn't make myself very clear. I was referring to the engine in post #44, sorry. All of your builds are beautiful even the "okay" ones.
