39 Torque tube non standard bearing race

I am working through the banjo on my '39. Thought I should upgrade the torque tube while I have it out. The rest of the car is all original (what I mean is if replacement parts were used they replicated the original parts).
But, when I looked at the bearing race on the torque tube (front), it is not split. Rather it is a solid race, definitely not original design.
Has anyone seen this style replacement race? And if so, how to remove in order to get to the seal?
