Default Lower door seals on 37 coupe

How do you attach the lower door seals on these cars The old ones look like they used a staple. Dennis Carpenter sells the seals. Anyone else had this problem?

Upon closer inspection I found, after removing the old seals, that they are held in place by clips that are part of the lower door. Live and learn

Attach the Dennis Carpenter lower door seals using the original-style staples or tacks into the wood strip along the door bottom. Pre-fit first, then staple every few inches. Some restorers add a small bead of silicone for extra grip, but staples are enough.
