I believe it is the opposite. The early B-1 version had the indented "Zenith" lower casting and a round float. The later B-2 version had the raised letters, a rectangular float, and an improved idle port. The photo supplied by the OP shows an angled and indented "32005" on the side of the upper casting, a feature of the B carbs made by Zenith starting in 1935 for replacement purposes. These aftermarket versions seem to be the most plentiful.
