Michael,
You are correct about the decal, see the picture below. By request I've also attached pictures of the heater. |

According to Don it was dealer installed at the owners request.
The history as I was told; Owner #1 was a woman. Owner #2 was the man who owned a service station that maintained the car. Owner #3 was Don Chasteen (a collector of high qualty Early Fords) |

What is the color of the dash? Hard to tell from photos.
Have a photo of the door tops with garnish? |

When I looked at the picture of the dash it seemed to be black and not the dark maroon. Then I noticed the column drop which is black and I could see the difference. The lack of light possibly makes the maroon seem too dark?

The pull down shade above the rear window is neat.

That looks great! I had a 34 dash that someone had painted a different color for some reason. I took the glove box lid, which the back side had not been painted, into an OReillys store and they used their paint camera to come up with a formula. I thought it did a very good job. I have that info somewhere if anyone would like it.

Could you post pictures of your drivers-side door?? Does it ALSO have the door lock lever on it like your passenger-side door does?? See new post here on the barn on the subject. |
