Default Pics of original 32 dash arrangement

This was for sale online. I had never seen pics of the original wiring and arrangement. That tube nut on the ammeter is like one I received with an ammeter. The wiring is interesting. I don't think that fuse wiring will work. Reason the car was scrapped?

it looks to me like the wire at the bottom of the pic #7 was once attached to the other end of the fuse.

You would do better using the wiring diagram in the owners manual and the Service Bulletin (see attachment below) than these photos. Why is the lead to the dash light switch disconnected and the fuse block rendered useless?

I found a hex brass tube nut on one of the gauges on my 34 but after some research found it belonged on the door window regulator as a stop. I don't see the tube nut in your photos.

Only used with the dual temperature/fuel gauge and then not until the '33s.

I will share an oddity. The dash I just bought does not have studs for the gauges. It has threaded holes instead and very short round head screws. One without a lock washer was actually hitting the face and pushing it out some!

The reproduction panels lack studs as well.

Thanks for the pics. I wondered what the holes in my dash support were for. So if the coil has a built-in resistor do you still need the resistor.
