This was for sale online. I had never seen pics of the original wiring and arrangement. That tube nut on the ammeter is like one I received with an ammeter. The wiring is interesting. I don't think that fuse wiring will work. Reason the car was scrapped?

it looks to me like the wire at the bottom of the pic #7 was once attached to the other end of the fuse.

I found a hex brass tube nut on one of the gauges on my 34 but after some research found it belonged on the door window regulator as a stop. I don't see the tube nut in your photos.

Only used with the dual temperature/fuel gauge and then not until the '33s.

I will share an oddity. The dash I just bought does not have studs for the gauges. It has threaded holes instead and very short round head screws. One without a lock washer was actually hitting the face and pushing it out some!

Thanks for the pics. I wondered what the holes in my dash support were for. So if the coil has a built-in resistor do you still need the resistor.
