I agree , all wires go through the firewall back along the ( inside ) the frame rail . Attached with 33 clips which are available. The only wire inside the cab , beside the dash , goes to the passenger pillar light . That goes along the dash to the right side above the glove box then up above the door and to the pillar light . If you have a electric clock it is on the same path .
