There is a 1934 coupe ‘hot rod’ in the for sale section of this forum for $15,000. Looks like a decent body, uncut, both door, deck lid, etc. Built flathead that is worth something as well as a bunch of other stuff. I haven’t seen a 34 coupe body for sale for quite a while for any price.

Not to me, but probably to a lot of guys out there (which explains the differences of opinion).

I find "alchemy"'s reference to "scroungers" (vs. 1000 point restorers) to be spot on.

On pricing in this case? Yes. The old Ford world is a lot bigger than the microcosm of meticulously restored cars.

A lot of folks don't have the cash to plunk down $35k+ for a restored car only to need to spend more to turn it into what they want. For a lot of folks they need to do it at $10, $100, $500, $1000 at a time spaced out over X years to get to their final desired result.

Bits and pieces like this can be what's necessary to complete their puzzle.

Agree, some of these comments are entertaining. There should be two folks who commented that are racing to the scene and willing to fight over this scrap.

If you needed a full rear quarter for an otherwise pristine body, I think you would jump into the fray, kinda like finding pay dirt!
