Default K.R.Wilson. B.V. 20 Puller

I cannot find this tool in my (3) K R Wilson catalogs. Can anyone tell me the function and year it was used. Thanks

I had a KRW tool I could not identify also. It turns out Old KRW made tools for other makes. I had a very special tool for setting the end play on Packard crankshafts. There was a large "P" on the tool as well as the number. I donated it to a Packard club.
At first glance it looked like part of a Norden bomb sight!

BV-20 shows up in the K.R.Wilson catalogs in the 1930s. Its function is a steering sector arm puller.

Thanks David! Is there an adapter cup next to the end of the sector shaft?

There's a cup there to center the threaded shaft of the tool and to protect the threads on the end of the sector gear shaft.

Thanks David. I am missing that “cup” or “protective collar” if anyone has one.

The original might have a small point on the adaptor to engage in the center drilling in the end of the pitman shaft.

The protector cup can be turned on a lathe, possibly the only easily remade part in the tool assembly.
