The bolts made are the longer of the two versions. Castle Nuts have become incredilbly expensive to make in the US. What I use are Model A Ford rear backing plate nuts made by Snyder's. They are 7/16-20 with a 5/8" hex like original unline the most common 11/16". They have a shoulder so if you are using the long version bolts in a short version scenario the work perfect, otherwise just tunr the shoulder off in a lathe.
