Now, I can't get it to even go to his opening page.

Just tried the link and got a message that said, "site cannot be reached".

He's in CA may be problems due to fires!!

I don't know where he is in California, but in my area (a couple miles from the fires), one major provider (mine) is still up. Another major provider is down throughout the area. He very well might be having an outage.
