friend of mine let me barrow his 1951 ford coupe for the summer if I like it I can buy it
but he bought it with shaved door handles do they make un locker for 6 volts like they do for 12 volts if I for get to leave the vent window unlocked I cant get in couple pics of the car |

Put the door handles back on... The one time I had experience with door "poppers" they used a solenoid like found on bosch VW starters. The early 60s VWs were 6 volts so I am sure you can get 6 volt solenoids.

If you want information on unlockers check with an auto stereo installer, they do that work also.

What up with the model A and the 56? in the barn? I was kidding about the handles. Not so much about the solenoids. I used an aftermarket alarm with door unlock remote to activate a relay running the solenoids.

No one said it was for sale he is a good friend of mine and let me drive it for the summer he know how I like old cars this way it will get a few more miles on it this year

drive train is all stock but the wheels starting is some time fun if you touch the gas it will flood but on Sunday we had to prim it it has sat a lot it show 33000 on the speed the guy he got it from says that is all on it
there is rust there is mud in the so what it is not 15000.00 dollar car maybe 5000.00 or so |

yep when they work good they are nice had one in a 1953 2 door sedan with a flathead nice driving car
I need to find a way to get in the car if I forget to unlock the vent window |

Leave both of the vents unlatched; that way, you have a backup "Entrance System".
