Are you referring to the T5?

For the exception of cutting a hole in the floor for the shift lever and getting the drive shaft shortened. This is probably the cheapest and easiest conversion you can do. The adapter costs $160 (I'll look up the source) I think you have to use a T-5 with a Ford Bolt pattern but not sure. I made one of these adapters for Richard's conversion.

If you are using the Mustang T5, the one behind the 4 cylinder has a longer input shaft. Modern driveline also makes a spacer(about 3/16 inch thick) to solve the problem

Speedway has a complete conversion kit , transmission and all for 49 thru 53 flathead. I was just wondering what all is involved in the conversion. All the parts needed come in the kit. Has anyone ever used this setup. It uses a s 10 transmission.

That is what I was referring to, Cornhuskers does a similar kit. Nothing against Speedway, I purchase a lot of parts from them, but if you need any support someone like Cornhuskers can provide it.

It may have been just the bushing for the throw-out bearing that I was looking for.... Mark
