Got the new bushings in on the shift levers on the transmission side case. 2nd/3rd gear lever bushing was really in poor condition. Took the car down the mountain where it was popping out of second and it stayed in gear. Will get the two bushings on the steering column changed this week. Thank you Mac Van Pelt for your advice! Bushings on column are missing. Just rubber grommets and washer so I think anything will be an improvement.
