I have a 1941 and did remove the oil pan without lifting the motor.
the starter has to come out. one or both tie rods needs to be lowered. if I rember right its a tight fit coming down. and I think the oil pump had to be removed and let it drop in the pan and it all slid out good.. going back in position oil pan and then install the pump there is room. good luck and remember have fun!! |
