I would think that the engine is stock as the battery is on the drivers side. I guess they did for the 6 cy.

Thanks coolcoupe, yes from what we can tell, it's pretty much all stock. It fires right up and seems to be dependable - so far.

Now I'm looking for some skirts.. not sure if 48's came with.

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yes,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i do like skirts. But it kind of depends on who is wearing them.
But as for a 48 Ford,,,,,,not really. Just my choice. But hey,,,,,,,,,,,,,if they blow your Skirt up,,,,,,,Oops,,,just a pun there,,,, Then I say run them. That's what makes Old Hot Rods cool. No cookie cutter. Every one should do their car as they like. By the way. That's is a very nice sedan. You did good.
